My colleague is dynoing his standard E46 330Cd 6 speed manual (204bhp version) tomorrow at Powerstation. What can we expect at the wheels normally from this? I know different dynos give different figures but.. has anyone dyno'd a standard one before?

The car is ex BMW demo so we wonder if it might make a little more than other cars...

Never heard of any actual dyno figures for one, but would be very interested to hear.

Amazingly enough it made 225bhp! I have a video of it I could post.

I remember speaking to Van Aaken a couple of years ago and they said that no 3.0d BMW that they'd ever dyno'd came in under the manufacturers figure for either bhp or torque. 225 is a top result. What was the torque figure. Should be 302ft/lbs according to BMW.

I believe it made 430Nm = 317lb ft, so torque slightly up too.

There was a standard looking Mk 2 golf that made 489bhp!!!
