Hello,
Does anyone know for sure whether BMW make a snap-in cradle for the basic Motorola V3 RAZR phone that will fit my 2006 Coupe? The official answer seems to be that nothing is approved and therefore not available but I think there are now other cars (1 series?) that have such cradles available - but would they fit and function?

Hi, i got an official BMW V3 Razr snap in bluetooth adaptor part # 84 21 0 415 023 from Oxford BMW, might be worth giving them a call? They also advertise parts on Ebay!
The paperwork for mine says ....
" Compatible only with 1er, 3er(new E90), 5er, 6er,7er.
NOT compatible with X5, X3, Z4, 3er(old E46)"

Cheers....

Thanks for info - the part no. you mention is probably what Wood BMW were talking about when I phoned them yesterday. I guess that you use yours in one of the listed approved cars you mention? I need to determine whether the part actually fits the E46 M3 and works in it. If so, the only slight question is whether BMW could wriggle out of any warranty claims that they could blame on the use of the non-approved connector (if they could prove it). However, as I use the V3 in the car anyway I presume the difference made by the connector will be zero.

Thanks
