I keep reading about settings that can be assigned to 'car memories' and/or 'key memories' in my 02' 530 Sport hand book. That's all very well, but I can't find anywhere in the handbook which tells you how to assign settings to these memories. Please can somebody point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance,

Dan.

Go to dealer. Move directly to dealer. Do not pass go. Do not collect £200. You may find an indy with the equipment but more likely to be dealer only.

I want the auto locking above 3 mph on my 540i so I will be doing the dealer trip soon.

Well, you might actually want to pass go and collect the £200, because the Main Stealers don't half know how to charge! I was quoted £50 for three key memory choices.

What settings are you talking about - climate control temperatures etc? My old Audi S6 just remembered the last setting used with each key, so there was nothing to press to make them remember. Try setting the climate as low as it'll go with one key in the ignition, then start the car with the other key and see what it's set at.
