Sat Nav for E46

Hi, we have an E46 330cd convertible and I am looking for a sat nav to be fitted 'flush' into the dash such as an Alpine unit...

Does anyone have any experience of these units? How do they fit them so they work with the vents etc? Are they any good?

Finally would anybody recommend an installer in south west/west London?
