popped into marlow at lunch to get some cash out.
get to one of the car parks near the centre, park up and go to get a ticket.
a voice pops out of a nice new 335i bmw on 56 plate....excuse me mate, you staying for a while??
now I thought I recognise that voice and turned aorund and there he was, sat in the bm waving the ticket!!!
I had to shake his hand, take the ticket, and congratulate him on being a living legend and pleased to meet him.
he must have liked the CSL or sth but what a total legend. should have got him to sign the ticket ;-)
anyways he has good taste in cars and it brought a smile to a rather dreary day!

He's a top man.
Met him a couple of times at Eden Park events. (He still wears their stuff with the little pink bow tie emblem ... they used to supply all the clothing for ITV F1)
Last time I saw him he was with Tony Jardine.
Both are top guys, down to earth, knowledgeble about their subject, and very easy to talk with.
