BMW Business CD player sticking?!
Discussion
My CD player (just BMW business head unit) seems to be playing up completely. It is not reading or ejecting the disc (there is one in there!) and it is constantly making a clicking noise - even when the ignition is turned off and the keys are removed?! very weird.
I am slightly worried that it may drain the battery? is there a way to "reset" the thing?
thanks

Seen a few of these-its internal im afraid-cd mechanism is stuck.
After 16 minutes the car should go to sleep-all consumers switched off, hopefully the cd will turn off too and save your battery.
If you have warranty then its off to the dealer,if you havent its off to the breakers...or get some top ice
You will have to dimantle the unit if its out of warrantyto get your cd...to get the cd player out;using a srew driver gently prise out the passenger trim(wood/aluminium)then prise out the trim that goes over the CD(wood/aluminium)then undo the 2 phillips screws and pull out the stereo..
