Just picked up my CSL yesterday-fantastic car, utterly seductive!
However, thinking ahead what oil do i need to be using for top up's?

Look under bonnet, read label on engine bay. It will tell you which casrtol motorsport oil to use. Dont use anything else. Mine hardly uses any oil and is tracked a lot

Castrol make a special oil for the M models, it's not really any more expensive than other Castrol synthetics but is the only oil recommended for your car. I don't have the details to hand at the moment, but your BMW parts specialist will tell you.

I thought it was now Castrol Edge 10w60, as this has replaced TWS Motorsport?

Bought some last week from BMW. I think you have to be a bit careful with substitutes unless BMW tell you to use it.

Its castrol 10w60 that u use.
