330ci or M3 evo cab

Im pondering the choice I have between the above mentioned cars. My budget is £10k for which I can either get an e46 330ci (2000 -2001 model) or a e36 m3 evo cab (around T reg. I dont know which to go for. It would be used daily, so what do people think the best choice is?

Buy the newer car less problems all round.

although the 330ci is newer (and looks better) the evo is a far better drive and much more fun!

Find out about VANOS before you go looking at E36 M3 Evo's.

There's a thread on this forum with an unfortunate soul with an MZ3.

hi there, i would advise you too purschase the e36 m3. it is quite pracical and you can have a bit of fun here and there.

Ive heard about this vanos unit issue. Is this replaced usually as part of service history or is it only done if the owner decided to pay for it? How can you tell if it has been done or not (if no reciept is available). Thanks
