afaik its tucked in behind the heater somewhere, but "should" be accessible as htey are almost a service item 'cos they fail on a fairly regular basis.

After working in a main dealer for the past 14 years I could probaly fit these in my sleep.
The final stage unit is located in the right hand side of the heater box.
To gain access to this component you will need to remove the trim covering the pedal box/steering column. Take care removing this trim. There are some plastic lugs on the trim near the steering column, remove the rubber upper cover so you can understand how to remove it without damage.
Now you should be able to see the heater duct which supplies air to the drivers footwell.
To the right of this is a small stepper motor screwed into the heater box with some Torx 20 screws. Remove both screws (note the upper screw is barely visible)you will need a torch for this operation. Disconnect the rod from the stepper motor and set aside.
The final stage unit should now be visible. Some are held in with Torx 20 screws or others just with a plastic retaining lug.
Remove the component and replace with new.
Good luck.

Suspect I will be fitting plenty more of these- Just opened my own business in York.

Thats what our technicians have to deal with, imagine doing 4 or 5 in a day. It doesn't get any easier. lol

them guys must all have real bad backs lol cause that is a real shit position you have to twist yourself in to reach that top torx screw.
