Is there a list of mobiles that work with BMW bluetooth? Have just got the gf a 120d M Sport but whilst her mobile works fine, mine won't! Can anyone direct me to a list of suitable phones that are fully compatible as my contract is due for change pretty soom.

Amazingly enough (!!), have a look at:

www.bmw.co.uk/bluetooth

g/f has a RAZR V3 - which works fine in her X3;
I have a 6280, which does not. At all!

Think the BMW list is well out of date, looks the same as the one I was shown by the dealer about 6 months ago. There are also more snap in adaptors available now, I have one for a V3.

Basically, BMW have to do their own testing etc to make sure the phone and car are compatible with each other. This testing and the speed at which new phones are released are way out of sync.

The newest phones that have cradles available are:

Nokia 6230i (and LATE 6230 models)
Sony Ericsson K750i
Motorola RAZR V3 and V3i (No cradle for the V3x, its bigger and thicker than a V3/V3i)

I'll try and keep people updated with new phones and part numbers for cradles, when I know, you will.

Because the mobile phone market is so fast the motor trade is always 1 year behind...we play catch up all the time...we dont see the phones until they are launched only then can they be tested and then the cradles etc made..this takes alot of time-unfortunately no phone company will spend time with the manufactorer as its worth very little to them.

Is there a bluetooth cradle for the basic Motorola V3 RAZR that will fit my 2006 M3 then? I spoke to a stealer today but they were a bit coy on the subject but implied that something does exist that would work. Thanks if anyone replies.
