friend of mine had all bmw badges & m5 & m badges removed from his immaculate 2002 e39 last night

where is best place for replacements, are the main dealer only?

You could try the local scrappy - I got ones from
the main dealer for about a tenner each though.

Add in a couple of quid for some touch up paint where
the scrotes had screwdrivered them off and job done.

Let's hope BMW badges don't go the way of VW badges a
few years ago.

In the green list below the pic it will tell you what is applicable to your model.

Ring up parts dest at BMW and quote the part numbers to then and they will give you a price, most BMW badges are held in stock and as its an M car you may need to provide chassis number because they dont like Kev's M badging their 518i's.

Put a 518i badge on it, it won't get nicked and is much better than an M badge
