Seriously thinking about one of these. Would apprecaite a ride out in one, if at all possible. I'm based between Teesside / Central London / Essex.

Beer tokens and/or food as a thank you.

Cheers

Can't help you with a DMS drive (Superchips on my 320d and 530d), but Evo did a test of an E46 330d (214bhp I think) with a DMS chip and raved about it.

I'd suggest you put exactly which 330d you're talking about as well as there's about half a dozen 330d variants out there now.

Thanks for that. I'm looking at about a 5 year old model so reckon that is an E46 (2900cc).

How do you rate the Superchips remap?

Very impressed with my superchips re-maps.

Even had the 320 go back for a new ECU, under warranty, no issues and got the re-map for free.

Noticeable difference on the 320d, can't say on the 530d as I had it done the afternoon I collected the car! Didn't see the point in not having it done.

Rods has had his 535d DMS chipped and it is (apparently) hugely quick.

DMS come with a very good reputation.

Just sold my 330d, which had taken a trip to Superchips in Manchester. It went from 204bhp to 245 bhp and wow what a difference. The torque was mega and I did a rough 0-60 from the lights and reckon it was about 6 secs. Transformed the car. Not just my opinion, took several petrol head friends out without telling them to see if they spotted the difference - they all did and were amazed by the performance. Can highly recommend the service from Superchips - had no problems with the car at all. It did add about £80/yr to my insurance.

Get it done - you won't regret it.
