New Independant BMW Specialist - York

I wanted to make a recommendation for anyone looking for an Independant to carry out servicing work in the York area.
Autohaus Diagnostics has recently opened on 1st September and they had someone drop a flyer though my letter box as they saw my car outside. I had them take a look at my car last week to sort out the alarm/immobiliser problem which they did temporarely until they had the car for longer this week when they were sorting out the MOT and few other problems.
I can't recommend them highly enough as I know they worked like demons on my car to get it sorted with some PITA problems! They recently left the franchied BMW dealers in York (Castle) where they had both worked for a number of years and have won all sorts of awards and attained levels of qualification. All their experience and training is bang up to date, so what ever age your car, they can service, repair, fit parts or diagnose problems.

PS No connection to the business, just a satisfied customer who has been searching for a decent local for an indy to have work done!

Thanks for the tip re AutoHaus in York.
I went along to 'interview' them on Saturday to see if will trust my S54 Z3MC to them.
I was/am delighted with both Craig (CAE AIMI) and Michael (AAE MIMI)and have no qualms whatsoever. Garage spotless, Certificates galor (all relevant, no 100yds breast stroke here) Parking and access easy off the York ring road (B1363 on the right just after the Wiggington turn off).
They spent a good 45mins with me, talking BMW/M. They are hard core BMW enthusiasts and I get a very clear sense that the quality of work and Value for Money will be superb.
My MC and 120D will be going here in future. In fact the MC is booked in for MOT and brake fluid change already.
The chaps 'appreciate' the interview approach and actively encourage it. They want you to be happy and put at ease in the 'trust' stakes, when it comes to entrusting your motor to them.
I declare no interest in Autohaus.
I wish Craig and Michael all the best and hope the business grows..it deserves to.
