Hartge diesel tuning?
Discussion
Anyone had any experience of Hartge tuning boxes?
I've the chance of picking one up fairly cheaply secondhand for my 330d(180bhp), boosts power to about 225bhp with a decent torque increase as well.
Apparently it's warranty friendly and fully T.U.V approved, just wondering how easy it'd be to fit and whether any other work would be involved.

Boing - I'm interested in this too! Must be someone out there with some knowledge?!
I am recommended by these guys, www.andandpete.co.uk , who have a great deal of experience of tuning the diesel E46 and E90, that tuning boxes are not the best thing to do.
Apparantley they are a very rough way to hike the power with no real care to optimise things like fuel volume inputs and firing timings. Unpredictable in result too, 225hp is not guaranteed.
An ECU remap can be 400-600 quid with DMS/Superchips/Others
Ant and Pete have 320hp E90 330d and a 375hp 535d both with 700+NM torque, but this is with more than just ECU remaps.
