Advice please on what you think is a fair private price to pay for this:

2002 BMW 5 SERIES 525d SE 5dr Auto Diesel Touring
36,000 miles, FBMSH, two owners. Silver plus black leather. CD changer, Uprated alloys. Detachable tow bar. immaculate condition throughout.

Many thanks

Well, i'd say circa £12-12.5k privately depending on reg plate, expect a BMW Dealer to place a retail price of £15950 on it

...very recently purchased a 2002 52 plate 525i (Petrol) SE Touring automatic done 25k, FBMWSH, one owner, Blue metallic with Beige Leather, immaculate throughout. RETAIL (be it from an independant garage) £12350 after some rather good bargaining (BMW Dealer Retail price around £14950)

HTH

Thanks Mustard. You've pretty much confirmed my view. I offered the guy £12k, but he won't shift off £14k.

If the cars what you want, recently serviced, good tyres etc might be worth going to 13k to own it

low mileage 5 Series tourings arnt that common these days (they either cover big miles or the private buyers opted for X5's when they bought new) as i'm sure your finding!
