I know than my fiancee can insure our car for cheaper than I can but she is not the registered keeper.

Will this cause a problem or increase the cost if she insures as the main driver but not the registered keeper?

Thanks

It shouldn't matter who is the registered keeper.

Is she the main driver, or are you and are you just using her to reduce your premium.

If you're the main driver, you're commiting fraud and likely to loose any payout you might get in the event of an accident, and face prosecution of the insurance company feels like it.

Is it worth it for a small reduction - sometimes just putting a female driver on as a second driver will reduce your premuim by £50.

Don't do it, it is fraud.

I put the missus on my insurance and it went down. This was on a M3 and she passed her test less than a year ago!
