Hi There

Does anyone know the best insurance company to renew my M5 through this year. It's 3 yaers old and I have full no claims.

Try Liverpool Victoria ... I've got my M3 with them and they were a £100 cheaper than any other quote I got ...

You could try esure www.esure.com/ they quoted me £380 fully comp on my 325i E30 touring when my existing company were quoting £550 for renewal.

Swinton run a specialist policy for M series BMWs - 0208 593 7676. I insured my M3 with them for a while during which time someone drove into it. They were extremely good at sorting the mess out which is worth a lot if you're unlucky enough to have a shunt...

I'd go with privilege, you can usually barter with them and if you have more than one car insured with them they will give bigger discounts. Also optionally extending your excess will substantially decrease your insurance. I extended the excess on a 911 carera 2 by £500 and got the insurance to just over £500 aged 25 from £1100.

The other alternative is to join one of the BMW car clubs, either BMW M Power club, BMW Drivers Club, or BMW owner club and use one of there recomended insurance companies. This usually gets you a bigger discount with the insurance companies then if you contacted them direct.
