I hope your on here because you deserve a public flogging. I was the guy with the Silver Grey M3 CSL.

You drove like an idiot last night and could have caused serious injury.

When someone is trying to pull past a truck please use the outside lane in future and generally be courteous to other road users. Matching my speed and trying to block me in was not the right thing to do. When I did get in front you "chase me" for the next 2 miles with your full beam on, driving up my bumper and then try to run me off the motorway at the next junction. How dangerous - how childish !

You should be ashamed of yourself.

It's scum like this that give decent 4*4 drivers a bad name.

Yeah, it amazes me how many people get behind the wheel of a car (often a 4x4 but not always) and all of a sudden they're a big man, trying to bully people and push them around simply because they're less courteous and more willing to risk damage to their car. It's all the more annoying given that most would fill their pants if you were stood next to them on the pavement.

I used to get it all the time in my Smart, because it's bottom of the "throw your weight around" food chain. But it was pretty funny when the c*cks (typcially in those Mitsubishi "Warrior" agricultural vehicles for some reason, probably because they're £4.50 so total scum can afford them) pulled alongside at the lights and looked over. They generally expect some little girl to be behind the wheel, so they were surprised to find me and my brother sat in it! (We're pretty big and mid-20's)

I can't see how an X5 can match an accelerating CSL so much so that the CSL is blocked.
Alternatively, if you know he's a cnut and not going to let you surely its safer to just pull in behind ?

4.8iS is pretty quick in the mid range.

Yeah, once you're on the move it's power to drag that counts, and with 360bhp and 0.38 drag coefficient it's pretty close. Especially if the CSL is off-cam.

Don't get me wrong, if both drivers were as determined to bust the limit the CSL would give the X5 a good going over. But a loon in a 4.8iS would be able to keep with someone responsible in a CSL.

That's the thing about the CSL (even the M5). You have to drive it to make it go fast. In an X5 4.8iS you just put your foot down.

(not that I'm insinuating that lucozade doesn't know how to drive his CSL)
