Hi,

After owning an 2001 RS4 and getting destroyed on the MPG, I recently got on of these 535d jobbies and have just had it remapped by Superchips and i have to say i am very very impressed, wouldn't say it was as quick as the MTM RS4 but it definatly hawls and with 30-35mpg im very happy - it does what is says on the tin!!

The question is, do you guys know of any sports exhausts for this car to try and make it sound as fast as it goes...

Yes i know i should have stuck with the RS4 for a beutiful tone but there has to be a way to sound this one out!

any advice greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Steve.

Quad tail pipes have been available for a while now for the 535d. For best results you need the M5 back bumper too.

Not sure how much more noise they make though.

Nick[/quote]Does it need the extra two pipes? I can see plenty of people "losing" the badge as well.

I wouldn't worry about people dealing on your patch Zod, you won't be able to see the pipes for the black cloud of particulates!

Apparently if you really want that throaty diesel death rattle, you need four pipes!

Huh? Talk about streotypes. The 535d has a particulate filter.

Aye.
The 535d makes very little smoke and in many ways is better for the environmet than petrol cars.

Yeah, just kidding. Although I'm not sure many 535d buyers have the environment on their mind when they buy!
