HELP HELP HELP!

I cant get the sodding control arm ball joint out of the subframe. Its been in there 20 years as has welded itself in. How the HELL am i meant to get it out?

We've WD40'd it, smashed the bolt from the top with a lump hammer, tried to lever between the control arm and the subframe.. Nothing! Anyone get any other ideas?

Same problem on the track rod ends, i've had a proper ball joint seperator in there and it hasn'ty budged a bit..

This is annoying me now because if i can get the ball joints off i can get the front end stripped and rebuilt..

Any help would be really appreciated - I asked my local BMW dealership and the wouldn't tell me what to do, said that they'd be liable then told me that if went to their website and paid for the info they'd give it to me. $%*(%^*)%^)£$

Afraid that is down to todays 'sue everybody else if it goes wrong' attitude that dealers are no longer allowed to give advice over the phone BMW even do mystery shop phone calls to check they don't
Try warming the subframe with a heat gun and persevere with the ball joint breaker, seperate the strut end first then the subframe joint leave it bolted on at the rubber mount end to stop the arm swinging around too much and unbolt that last.
