CD jam in an E46 318Ci

Hello folks,

Have a wee problem with the cd multichanger in a 318Ci. According to the display on the dashboard, the magazine is supposedly missing from the multichanger in the boot. In fact the magazine is in, but it is jammed because one of the plastic slots is sticking out (as if it is feeding the cd player), and so preventing it from ejecting.

Is there a solution to the problem?
