Run Flat tyres
Discussion
Hello all,
anyone have a view on these run flat tyrs that BMW are fitting as standard to their beasties? Personally can't stand them. They wobble around corners and when there's a bump....well, it jolts. I am a bit 'concerned' about not replacing them like for like when they come to be changed (I reckon 5k miles more). Perhaps an obvious question but will it matter to the handling (other than needing to carry a can of tyre weld) ....it's surely got to improve the ride doing away with the runflats.
Appreciate any guidance.
Rgds, Brin

I can't stand them either, every time someone posts about them, I type out the same rant!
