Currently working at Loch Lomond golf tourney scene on the tv at the moment, and so far I have 'spotted' four M6's. (One had the reg plate 'M6 WOW'

Seen 2 new M5's which look far better, and although they have the same engine as the M6, seem to sound better!.

Also spied a new Z4M convertable, which makes a change from the fleets of other BMW's on view.

Its safe to say the the beemer the golfing worlds equivalent of a no-brainer, and now I find myself towards the magnificent looking Merc CLS AMG, whcoh has all the drama that the Beemers are lacking, even when its sitting still (Great noise aswell)

Sorry,

the CLS AMG and the M6 would not spoil a pair.

They are both excruciatingly ugly

For me, the M6 looks good in black, but the CLS looks bad in every colour. In yellow, the CLS should have a Geest badge.

I agree M6 looks very good in black what lets the side down apart from the ugly face is the cheapo interior, which really is the case for all top end bmws, plastic dash for 70k plus is really a joke.
Engine and driving experience apart,m cars lack the special quality feel that a 997 gives for less money

Thanks Zod, i've just spent a good 5 mins looking for a pic of a yellow one. Sadly it's not a standard hue; perhaps they'd do a special order in giallo fyffes

Controversially I prefer the looks of the CLS over the exceptionally ugly 6 series.

Have just read that over again, and im appauled at my spelling, I appologise to all.

Anyway 4 days hard graft at the golf, and I had the delight to spot another M6, this time in a light blue.....again it was unappealing.

Also stopped the traffic to allow a Bentley Flying spur through.....it looked like it had been in an accident, then I realised that was the look of the thing . It looks like a cross between the Arnage T and the GT, what a mish mash.

On a brighter note, the 5 series in estate form is a triffle excellent, also saggytits Colin Montgomorie, Paul Lawrie, Jose Maria Olazabal [sp?] said hello to me.

But best of all was Darren Clarke, the rest of the golfers were shaffured [sp?] up to the course in 5 series, however Dobbin classy as ever drove up in the back of a Toyota Hilux pick-up, lying down chatting in the back top-banana!.

"Appalled"

"Apologise" (or "-ize" if you prefer)

"Trifle"

(and finally)

"Chauffeured"

(Oh yes! One more small point... "I'm" not "im" )

Goodo....glad you don't like it...of course you don't know what you're missing.......but happy to be one of 'The Few'.

Slightly concerned that the tall fat hairy one seems to like them
