Blackberry

Anyone out there know if I'm going to have functionality loss / connectivity problems in trying to use my new Blackberry to work over Bluetooth in my 530i?

My car is a 55 plate and has the Professional comms pack installed.

I am a beginner in all things bluetooth kit/bmw related.

I read that only the phones listed on the BMW site are compatible, or maybe that means for full functionality i.e. steering wheel controls etc.

Perhaps someone else can enlighten us both?!

There are plenty of phones not on the list that work very well, but it seems there's no way of knowing til you give it a try I'm afraid. The only definite problem that I know of is with Nokia "Symbian" phones (N series & E series I think) that won't talk to E60 Beemers - I had to send my N80 back.
