Saw a BMW I had never seen before, BMW Z Alpina. It is left hand drive and an interesting feature is that the doors are cut away, or maybe he was driving it without the doors in place. Can anybody enlighten me to this model.
Thanks in antisipation.

BMW Alpina Z1

The engine from the E30 325i, but in Alpina form more likely the C2.7, a fibreglass body, and cool doors, unfortunatly Left Hand Drive only.

What a classic car! Bit of a pain that they're all LHD, but it makes the perfect weekend toy. I suppose that's why they're still £17k on the used market!

Look at www.munichlegends.co.uk/sales/stock_list.phtml?type=stock - they have a black one there with the spec.

Cheers

Or alternatively, look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Z1 for a thorough history of the car.

Lovely cars and sound great too!

The styling doesn't dated in todays car market either, IMO its better looking than the current BMW models.
