Hi. The car is a late E30 convertible (Lagoon green 320i 1992 'K')with power hood. The frame was very slightly damaged when I bought the car but it still operated correctly. After disconnecting both motors fixing the frame and relocating the motors, nothing seams to work.

Both motors still work if I put a seperate feed to them and there are two positive feeds at the swith end. I have checked the inhibitor switch (where the hood stows to) and as of yet can't work out what I am doing wrong?

I did speak to BMW about it and they reckon there is a reset procedure to follow whereby when the hood header rail is in a vertical position, the first motor should be engaged. Problem is, the motor won't operate (unless I put another power source to it).

Can anyone help or should I convert it to 'semi-automatic'!! I want to get this sorted before I have a new hood fitted.

Thanks in advance, Adi.
