Any tips for me....removing rear load cover from e30 touring.. manual says push and rotate However hard I push and rotate, nothing happens. Is there a knack or do I hit it as hard as I can.....

I'm not that clued up on the Touring, however there are a few E30 Touring members on here that should be able to help.

Maybe this can help you with somethings if you never knew about it.

Yeah me too - Sort of a twist and push forwards is enough to unclip the cover from the mounting brackets.

Now, getting them back in - well thats a different story

Is that push down and away whilst sat on the back seat or reaching in from the rear of the car.

Just tried mine... As thay said, twist it from the boot like you were opening a motorcycle throttle and it should just crack loose with moderate pressure. Sounds like a previous owner has bodged yours

Are you any good at repairs? I know of a Touring with a cracking engine that I haven't quite finished fixing...

You want a 325 manual for that, one used to go round combe like a scalded cat a few years back.....

Mine is a 320 manual

I think I'll buy some sort of jap thing for about 40p. Mind you, I suppose I could saw the luggage cover off.
