z3 coupe 2.8, 3.0

Has anyone owned/driven one of these?

Has there been many or any imported to the uk?

I've driven all three coupes; the 3.0's plus in power is slightly recognisable to the 2.8
Both don't feel underpowered compared to the M, which feels slightly overpowered anyway

LHD only, so lots of money to convert for UK.

I've only ever seen 1 in the UK, imported from Texas!

I wouldnt bother converting one from lhd, I like getting out on the pavement.

Like the look of them, it would be a bit different and it should be cheaper to buy and run than an z3M but still fast enough?

Not looking to change my car at the moment just wondering if there were many about in the uk and what people thought of them.

3.0 M54 engine is strong and it has DSC (UK spec cars did anyway), so with the stiffer body, should be fun and quite a stealth car.
