I'm afraid to say that the M3 will never have the same sort of performance as the TVR.

You've stated some of the obvious about proper doors and toys to play with like air con. If you get a good one (like mine ) you wont be dissapointed.

I used to stereo-type against the M3 when driving around in my 6 series, thinking to my self that `ah its only a M3` but trust me......seriously quick. It's a docile car untill provoked, then it'll tear your face off then kick you in the goolies on the way to the floor just for good measure. Where as with the TVR you are constantly aware of the monster that lays within.

To put things into perspective i had a friend of mine in the car on Saturday night who until recently had a Cerbra and he seams to think that my e36 M3 SMG would give a Cerbra a run for its money. Weather this is true or not, i can only take his word for.

Its a car for any occation....a faimly car (with 4 seats and a boot)or a sports car when you want it to be with its good turn of speed.

I hope this helps you in your quest,

Happy motoring !

M3John.
