Body Repairs recomendation - South London?
Discussion
My E36 coupe has a rust spot on the rear arch which needs attention. Can anybody recommend a good body repair specialist in South London/Surrey?
Also, does anyone know why this was a weakness on the E36? I've started to look at others since I noticed mine and it's not uncommon.
Thanks
Rich

Hallo mate, I am in your rough vicinity - Caterham Valley to be precise. I got an e36 coup too.
Have your arches been rolled and how old is your car?
(And having a peep at your car, I would recommend something better than a superchip, plus a few other things. Have a look at my one....)

G & V Coachworks in Catford South East London they used to do all the BMW Aproved bodywork for our dealership before the group got its own bodyshop, but we still use them for overflow and in my opinion they still do a better job.
Thanks! this sounds exactly the sort of place I'm after. The car is usually looked after by Autotech BM Spe'st out by Heathrow but they don't have a body shop. Catford is easily do-able.

Very nice indeed! It's the sort of modding I've wanted for mine for a while. More recently I've decided to downgrade plans. I've still been looking at the superchip (what would you recommend?) and at a CDA carbon airbox, Supersprint cat-back or Miltec. That would make me happy for the time being and hopefully taking brake up to around 215 (assuming I'm getting near the 192 I'm supposed to be getting, it certainly feels stronger than ever and as fast as a mate's E46 325).
I'm also considering selling and getting a non EVO e36 M3, hence wanting to get the arch sorted out. I really am in two minds
As for the arches themselves, no, they haven't been rolled. The car is a 1995 on an M.

Alright mate. If I were you, join up to the forum at www.e36coupe.com - arguably the best online resource for e36 owners. All my mods have essentially started from here and I have not made a single wrong decision because of it.
Your questions such as what exhaust, ecu etc will ALL be answered by some very clever peeps.
