I just set off a car alarm with the base on one of my Bass Train tracks. Is there a way of making it sound good but not do tis?

I can safely say that i have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I assume from the thread title that you've played some loud music and it's set someone's car alarm off. Turning the volume dial anti-clickwise should have the desired effect.
