Looking to buy an M3 EVO Convertible

Well here we go, I currently am running an astra coupe 1.8 16v. It is the special edition and lovely to drive, however, it is still a vauxhall lol! (which is for sale btw) lol.
I am looking at 10K as my budget and so this brings into the equation 50,000 mile EVO coupes or 55/60,000 convertibles.
I would love those racing type seats in the convertible but it doesnt look likely so I decided that I wanted a convertible with hard top. I would prefer it with the black dash and not the two tone grey/black, cream leather and estroil blue (however you spell it).
What should I watch out with the E36, are there any particular problems that could occur etc? This will be a second car and will cover 5000 miles a year if that.
