Saw a really nice M5 reg. k**5 bmv on the a603 as it overtook me today, slightly irked at the fact you then decided me traveling at 90 was too fast for you and braked to 70, no problem if you had let me overtake but alas you didn't and then proceeded to perform the most shocking display of driving i have ever seen

I hate people called Andrew. They are all c*nts.

See how stupid that sounds? It sounds as stupid as your idiotic post.

edit: I just checked your profile and, since you are a Z4 driver, I assume your post was a very well disguised joke.

Yes, it was a joke, but it can't have been that well disguised if it only took a minute to rumble it's cover.

I was actually endevouring to lighten the mood of the thread, I hadn't expected anyone to interpret it as a direct attack. I assumed that the fact that it was posted in the BMW forum would have been a big enough clue; people generally don't come out with deliberately confrontational comments in here. Or so I thought, apparently I was wrong.

nearly, nearly. The heavily pregnant wife and now new baby have cramped my style. Running in service should be next week. Then I'm free to use the full range of the engine.

You are right, that's why I edited. It's not unknown for some dick to come in here and crap on a thread (I'm coming over all Team America there).

but if he slowed down to 70, why couldn't you pass him at 80?

Very strange, maybe he was varying his speed according to road conditions? still doesn't explain problems you had with his driving after he slowed down though.

I know people sometimes give me funny looks when I overtake them at 90+++ on a motorway, and they then overtake me as I've slowed down to pass a sliproad or go through roadworks etc.....

DAZ

[thinkingoutloud]the world be a better place if people recognised BMW (and porsche drivers) as driving gods and moved out of their way at all opportunities[/thinkingoutloud]

That happens to me all the time. I overtake them at a highish speed (for this silly country) and then they come past me when I'm sticking ot the speed limit through the roadworks. Generally, I overtake again some time later after the speed restriction is lifted.

sorry i neglected to mention he matched my acceleration (which isn't hard) whenever i went to overtake him causing me a slight irritation.

Still don't have a problem with bmw drivers though
