Considering the West tuning remap, and maybe induction kit and exhaust for my 2002 330Ci Sport SSG.

Anyone have any experience of West, or even the conversion?

Does the induction kit/exhaust ruin the motorway refinement?

Any comments appreciated,

Many thanks

Robert.

i COULD NOT SAY MORE THAN "jUST DO IT!"
Ray is great & the remap, exhaust and filter make a BIG difference to the overall drivability. More noise is a very small problem at low revs uphill with no steareo on...the cure is drop a cog and nail it tho, which sounds brilliant!!!

Go for the Active Autowerke induction kit (no issues with hot air intrusion) and Eisenmann Exhaust. MillTek is a little chavesque imo.

The Milltek range spans quite a few end tail pipe treatments, and noise levels. The one I chose looks almost standard (a pair of twins) with albeit a slight increase in diameter overall. The sound is far better, but in no way lound/booming or Nova-like/barry-boy.

Ray re-mapped my derv & did a top job. He has just expanded his workshop & has a new all singing RR. As an added bonus while you wait, you can always watch a bit of track day action up on the bank.

Let me know how you get on, as my Bro is interested in getting his gay hairdressers 330ci done.

Cheers,

Gwaredd.

LOL! Classic, that's what I've always thought...still, if you are gay, a hairdresser and proud to let the world know, why not?

(Tongue firmly in cheek - no pun intended)

He's not gay, nor a hairdresser, but a scaffolder/bouncer
