Whats the difference?

Out of curiosity what is the difference between

325i
325i Sport
325 SE

I think thats correct for the models made, if not please correct me and advise...

We talking E30?

325i.... Bog standard, Steel wheels and keep fit windows
325i Sport .... M-Tech Body Styling, 15" BBS Wheels, M-Tech Suspension, Close Ratio Gearbox, Very Sought After So lots of ££££ in comparision
325i SE .... Electric Windows, Alloys, Rear Headrests etc

In this era lots of extra cost factory extras, so if you want to know exactly what you've got have a chat with your local dealer who can provide full spec details

so does the price vary considerable through the range?

if you took one of the same age in good condition from the same year what would there values be ?

A 'sport' will be anything up to double the price of an SE.
This is for post F reg cars (mk 2)
There is a also a pre facelift version up to E reg but I don't think there is that much difference between sport.non sport versions.

Yep... top line for a tintop std 325i or 325i SE saloon is circa £2.5k whereas a sport can push £5k obviously unique 'time warp' examples of both can command more
