Didn't think the cars were still making a premium?

You will need a deposit to order a new one, but you should be able to get a slot. Contact Gareth@Bespoke-Auto.co.uk. He'll find you one.

Yep,

I had on order the 3rd slot for the 1st batch of M5's that were due to arrive in May 2005, however a BMW dealer in Leeds offered me £6000 for my slot so i'd guess their punter was prepared to pay plenty more than that £6K premium to get one of the 1st batch.

That said, i doubt it's still happening now as their are plenty of low mileage used examples around for less that you'd expect. after much thought i've now purchased a new M5 (collected it yesterday) & it's a 12mth old 8K mile dealer model so fully fully loaded & the list price new was a shade over £74K & i picked it up for over £15K LESS than that so their are bargains out their.

As a side note, M6's are dropping in price at an alarming rate & it looks as though side by side 12mth old example M6's will cost the same as 12mth old M5's, yet a brand new M6 is over £16K more than an M5.

New maybe....second hand it's a bit of a steal...but then I'm biased!
