My uncle recently passed away and I have the unfortunate duty of selling his car for his widow (apologies if this sounds like one of those Nigerian scam e-mails)! I need to know a rough value for it.... I have been looking on Autotrader and Pistonheads for similar cars but there aren't that many of similar age/spec and that haven't been modified.

Its a BM3 325i coupe (E30) G reg (89-90) in red. 140k miles and in good condition for its age.

I would really appreciate it if any of you coulf hazard a guess as to its value.

depends on condition and spec could be from £500 to £3000 post some pics
but as an average i would say £1500 is fair

A quick look on Autotrader shows similar cars between £1000 and £1500.

Unfortunately I can't get pictures at the moment because its not local, but based on my memory of the condition I think i'll go for £1750 and see what happens.

If its a sport model it should fetch much more - still fancy a nice one of those myself.
