728i & LPG

[BO55 VXR]

I'm in the processes of procurring a 2000/X 728i (sorry, new to BMWs and don't know the 'E' numbers)

Has anyone converted one of these to LPG, if so, what are your opinions.. how much did it cost, was if worth it, do you get good economy etc

Any other LPG advice welcome

Whilst I know nothing specifically about 728's, the engine in that is a 6 cylinder I belive and investigating LPG conversions recently I can across a company quoting 6 cyl cars at £1750 + VAT for the conversion and they made a hire car available for you whilst they had yours. Dont know how good value that is, fairly sure it can be done a lot cheaper tbh.
