E34 Reversing Light Switch - Location?

Anyone know where I'll find the reversing light switch on my (manual) '91 E34? The fuse is good and I fitted new bulbs but still no bananna so I now assume its the switch that is InOp.

Might also be worth checking the wiring loom to the lights in the boot lid: it runs along the left hand hinge under a plastic cover and os a favourite place for breaks to develop. I had to reconnect about five wires that had chafed through on mine...

Thanks, Marshy. I had a look at the loom and it appears its been cut in the past and rejoined (unless they were like that from the factory? i.e in two parts?). A bullet plug seems a bit iffy so maybe thats the one that needs attention as all the others are shrink wrapped joins. I'll have a prod about later and see

It's a single loom from the factory. Mine also shows signs of previous work...
