Tilt, Slide..............

I'm picking up my 5 series on Tuesday thatv has a colour coded sunroof. It slides open ok but although the button slid the other way nothing happened. Are this sunroofs (no glass) slide only or should they be tilt & slide.

If its the latter, any ideas on why not working?

Push the button up for opening...
