You may remeber my other post about 330dse or 320dM Sport. I have chosen the 320d sob sob. I really didnt want to but the tax on the 330d was humungeous. (Note to self:earn less) Does anyone enjoy their 320d?
Thnx

Sorry to hear you couldn't stretch to the 330. Don't worry, the 320 is still a great car and still chuckable. Hope you enjoy it.

You can still achieve 200bhp with your 320d, which is only 4bhp less than the forecourt E46 330d.
Talk to DMS/Superchips/AntandPete

The Gold-Standard is now 100bhp/litre for performance diesels. (without getting silly)

Will.

I've got a 320d, I came from a cerbera so bit of a drop.

Of course I'd rather have a 330d, however when I took a 320d on a test drive it was much better than I thought it would be, I figured that by not getting the 330d (or 535d) I'd be leaving myself an upgrade path

Sure you can Most chip re-programmings are invisible unless you set out to look for them and apart from not seeing a financial return on your investment you could be fine.

It is a risk though, but 50bhp don't come cheap.....

I've had a 320D with M-Suspension and 17" for about 18 months now and whilst I would sob too if I'd had the 330D option, things could be worse. The handling is still just as great and every time I'm in Germany I'm so impressed by the motorway performance that I forgive it for clattering into the rev limiter just as any oversteer starts to get interesting. I saw a very stable 143mph just outside Berlin last year - this type of performance would be outrageous for even a pucker sports car just a few years ago.

Its all good
