Today I relieved one of our esteemed members, Zod, of his lovely Saphire Black M3 CSL.

Wow. I would've never thought how utterly planted and totally epic an experience it would be compared to a "normal" M3.

Gobsmacked.

I have to admit, with all this talk of BMW Warranties I nearly pulled out. But then, hell, you only live once. If it falls apart round my ears my life will have been richer for it.

Now, John Kettley, FFS sort out the weather so I can unleash hell on the highway.

That sound. Oh my god, that sound. Automotive porn.

Went ages ago (well, relatively, for me). Nice noise, nice road presence but the handling made me feel ill.

A Mustang is made by Ford and an M3 CSL is made by BMW.

The Ford has a v8 and the BMW a straight six.

See - www.pistonheads.com/sales/67688.htm

"I love this car and am only selling it because our first child arrives in April and I am moving to a child-friendlier car in a few weeks (well, that's what I told the wife, it's a new M5)."

PS, it was very dirty when The Dude picked it up. Something tells me it will be even dirtier by the end of the weekend.

Nice choice Dude

Should've bought a silver one though... much quicker!

I think you should mention what you think about you're new toy on the porsche thread. They're arguing which is better, CSL or GT3, its an argument that has been raging for years but i'm sure slippydiff would like to know your thoughts on how f***ing cool your new car is!

Enjoy it!!

I was thinking just that. Then you can appreciate the roof more.

I have an Interlagos Blue M5 with 12 miles (1% of running-in mileage!) on the clock sitting ourside the house.

More tomorrow.....
