E39 Damper Recommendations

My 98 528i has started wallowing more than it used to. I am planning on changing the dampers. I will probably do the rears first and then maybe the fronts.

Can anybody recommend a make and a source for some new dampers? I don't want to pay the BMW main dealer prices and I'm not looking to upgrade the car as it is family runaround so there is little point in shelling out for adjustable sports shocks etc. I don't want to see a deterioration in the ride, I would just like to get it riding the way it was originally.
