Chaps,
Been completely oblivious to BMW's in the past, and am now possibly looking at getting a 330d on the slightly used market. From what i've read, the 330d is available in 2 forms: from 2002 - 2005 are they all quoted at ~200bhp, and from 2005 onwards the power is upped to 228bhp?

But what model family does each belong to eg E?? something..

Help, confused, and where does the Tourer fit into this?

And also what warranty is offered with the models : 2 years + 3rd dealer?

The old shape is E46.
The 330d came in 2 forms, 184bhp and 204 bhp. Best way to tell is that the more powerful ones have a 6 speed gearbox.

Standard BMW warranty is 3 years and is pretty comprehensive.
Beyond that they've changed the policy so that it gets pretty expensive to renew/claim.

Not sure about the new shape E90 - BMW website should have plenty of information.
