z3 2.8 remote not shutting driver's door.

Keep finding the drivers door open. Alarm works, as does passenger door, but that's not realy secure enough is it?

Anyone know what I'm looking for? Local grease monkey says take the door card off - it'll be obvious.... hmmmm

So, any ideas? Also, out of interest, how do you take the door card off? Can't see any fasteners...
