Oktoberfest '06 happens in May

BMW Oktoberfest takes place this May, courtesy of the BMW Car Club GB.

Celebrating 20 years of the E30 M3, 30 years of the 6-Series and 40 years of the '02 Series, Brands Hatch will see a huge gathering of cars at the event, which takes place on the weekend of the 20-21 May 2006.

It's taking place during a round of the World Touring Car Championships and is supported by BMW UK.

The club assures us that more details of the event will be on the site (link below) soon. But if you're classic Beemer fan, you've got to be there...

Looks like I picked the wrong time to move to Germany!

May, may be just enough time to get the E21 polished and ready!

I believe a Batmobile CSL, couple of the 2002 turbos from Munich, UK will have the CSL and 2002tii.
Obviously with BMW UK supporting the event there should be some tasty new stuff as well: M5 M6 et al.
Poss even a few celeb drivers!!

If anybody is interested I may be willing to part with my 2002 touring ti. Looks standard from the outside and fully restored a few years ago by Jaymic. 150bhp engine if modified heads, cam, twin solex (from original ti) and Jaymoc sports exhaust. Make me an offer if interested!
