bmw 325i emissions

[swansea v6]

my 1994 325i coupe has twice failed the emissions test for the MOT. After the first fail I took it to BMW who picked up a failed thermostat and blowing manifold, both of which I had repaired. Just taken it back for a retest and it has failed again...values are engine oil temp 87c fast idle test;
co level 0.85% pass = 0.30
hc level and lambda both pass

second fast idle test resulted in an even higher co reading.......any ideas guys???

any ideas guys??????? jst looked through my service history, i have only had the car for a few weeks, and noticed that BMW fitted a new lambda sensor and cat less than 6000 miles ago??? so thay rules out my knackered lambda sensor theory.......... does anyone have any figurs for the 325 coupe, performance and fuel consumption???????????
