Do BMW dealers offer any incentive to keep up FBMWSH on older cars? I have just bought a 1990 E34 520i. One of the reasons for buying this particular car was the fact it had FBMWSH. However I have just been quoted £479 from the Maidstone dealer (which is half what I paid for it). Would like to keep the BMW dealer history but at that price it isn't worth it! I am sure I have read about such schemes but cannot find any related forums.
BTW what fantastic build quality given the car is now 16 years old! And such value for money! Wish someone put me onto these cars years ago. Looking forward to an upgrade - is there a big difference between the 520 & 525?

With a car of that age, I would drive away from the BMW dealer to your nearest reputable BMW independent, as fast as it will go.

There is absolutely no reason to continue with the FBMWSH. Ditch them PDQ!

Dealership SH is really a daft thing to continue, a good reputation indie is worth more to those with sense.

950 quid for an 1990 ?....you was robbed! <wink smiley> bloody foregin keyboards!
Continueing a Full BMW FSH on a 1990 car... just not worth it, I got a specialist who works for 30 quid an hour and proably knows more about these than the main dealer

Have just paid £280 for an inspection 2 on a e34 535i.
Much cheaper then a dealer and a better service imo.
