Not sure about this but hope you can solve a dispute... Were there ANY e30 m3s in RHD ?? ......I dont think so . Cheers Barry

As far as im aware if you mean as ex BMW in the fatherland then no.

Birds (I think it was them anyway) BMW in London converted a handfull tho & sold them in the UK.


However I don't know if South Africa had any done as they did manufacture there own cars out there, & had interesting cars for the home market like E30 330i etc- mate had one, & with the e30 basic rear suspension that was an interesting car to (try) & keep in a straight line

Used the slower 325i steering rack and a modified exahaust manifold which lost 15-20 bhp.

Not loved by the enthusiasts so they aren't worth much.

Defo a 333i, during the mid 80's it was my dream car. Never had the E30 M3 over there, however they did turn out a very interesting 325i with engine blown to 2.7 + all the Mtech suspension and exhaust toys. Very quick car in its day.

Wasn't the throttle cable re routed as well giving it a sless immediate response?
