Clearly a photoshop. It's been doing the rounds for months, complete with its 21" wheels.

Yep, that picture has been circulating for quite a while now, and is based on a photochop of the E90 Saloon. The E90 Coupe looks to be longer than the saloon and less 'edgy', so I'm none to confident that it will look as good. I'm sure we'll see some leaks coming out around the Geneva show though.

If it did look that good, I'd be interested.

LOL! I suspected as such, I'm always a bit behind the times.

A friend of mine who's got one on order sent the picture to me recently. I think he's thinking that this is what he can expect to be getting, presumably including the CSL intake in the front bumper!

Nope, thus far there have been no spy pictures of the next M3. There are plenty of the E90 Coupe floating around (taken by Hans Lehmann) and it doesn't look promising. If M GmbH can make the E90 M3 look like either of those pictures then it will be a real 'pulling a rabbit from the hat' moment..

See my post of 25th January - `new 3 series coupe - undisguised spy shot'.
I've now edited it to include a link for the latest Lehmann photo.

Well I'm praying the thing looks more like my effort...than yours!

Bloody hell!

The fifth one in your thread also appeared a while ago with a front view, which to my eyes looked superb. There used to be a large picture but now all I can find is the one on the link below:

http://phark.typepad.com/phark/2004/08/2006_bmw_4_se

We have been fed numerous photoshopped pictures in anticpation of this car over the last few years, some better than others. But if this latest Lehmann offering is accurate I'm afraid IMO it joins an increasing line of styling disappointments.

I believe that the 9th (grey) car in your thread looks closest to this spyshot and the M body kit does improve it - a little.

That's just a crap photoshop job, using bits of the M5 (front splitter, mirrors, exhausts and wheels) on a 3 series saloon with an added M3 badge.

looks better than this...

I think it's in the lights (amongst other things) the small lights make it look odd, the larger ones make it look MEAN!!!

It's a p1ss poor show when a bunch of jokers with photoshop can come up with something far better than the manufacturer themselves.

Yep, but with the horrible looking cars they're knocking out at the moment, it's not difficult !!

the photoshopped black one does look incredibly good, if it weren't for those rediculously oversized wheels!

I like the car in DoctorD's spyshot. Lowered, with four exhausts, fat tyres and a different rear valance, that should make a very decent M3 (provided they get the rest right )
